Swagistan celebrates the vast majority of world holidays due to the hugely diverse population. There are two that the Swagistani people created themselves, called National Polo Playoff, and Foodmas. The National Polo Playoff was first established when the country arose. It was made into a national holiday when Ralph Lauren Polo began to sponsor it and it began to draw in all the polo players from across the world. Foodmas was established quite differently. The original four Founding Fathers of Swagistan worked so hard to get the country going that they forgot to eat for four whole days. They almost starved until their wives became aware of the issue and made them 200 sandwiches which they devoured between all of them. The sandwiches were rumored to have been the absolute best sandwiches made... Ever.
Swagistanis traditionally have always considered sandwiches a luxury food. The young girls of Swagistan have sandwich making contests. The winners of these contests are highly regarded. Swagistanis also enjoy skydiving. When questioned as to why, nearly all of them responded "Because we're cooler than you.". This disagreement was started on the evening of May 12, 2011. It started with a precarious phone call that was taken the wrong way between the Dictators of Prikyat and the President of Swagistan. Because our grand country dislikes the act of war, we will only fire once our potential enemy fires. Having the Liberal majority in power, we are reluctant to cause problems that will lead to blood shed and the disruption of peace within our nation. Attempts to negotiate with the Dictators of Prikyat are being made, and are held at a degree of importance that has never been before seen. Since this war is going to go on we are going to have to spent money on resources and weapons. This will cause unemployment problems because we are buying high tech weapons for different country so money is not spreading in our system. It is going to another country.
